Hi, I'm Rachel

I am a licensed therapist and founder of the Vermont Counseling Network.  I am a native Vermonter growing up in Rutland county and graduating from Lyndon State College. After graduating from Lyndon State College, like many younger Vermonters, I moved out of state to North Carolina.  I spent 8 years in the Carolinas and obtained my Master’s of Social Work from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.  As much as I enjoyed being in the south it was never quite like home, so in 2015, I moved back home.

The Vermont Counseling Network originally started as a Facebook private community offering connection and networking opportunities for therapists and counselors across the state of Vermont.  As the mental health needs of our community continue to evolve it is clear that having a formal web presence and place to connect for Vermonters, providers and clients alike, was critical to supporting the well-being of our state.  As we develop our web presence and shift to best support our community I encourage you to stay connected by joining our mailing list.  The mailing list will be a primary method of communication as we share information about resources, therapist availability, and ongoing resources for mental health providers and community members.
